Yes. Jiffy Cornbread Mix contains lard, which is rendered and clarified pork fat.

    There is now a vegetarian version that is made with palm. Still tastes great.

    Palm oil is desecrating the rain forest. They tear down the forest to plant palm trees.

    this is what was in the vegetarian jiffy brand......these are inflammatory oils not gut friendly.....
    VEGETABLE SHORTENING (PALM OIL, SOYBEAN OIL),
    now how is this VEGAN. people don't be fooled by the box.....do you research for a healthier life.........peace be with you all
