What is Jamaican Black Castor Oil

Jamaican black castor oil is not a pure oil instead it contains an impurity which is the ash. The procedure through which black castor oil is extracted is different.

To extract black castor oil, the castor beans are first roasted and then oil is extracted from roasted beans. The ash from the roasting process is added up in the oil. This ash makes the color of the Jamaican castor oil black.

So it is the ash that makes Jamaican castor oil different from natural pure castor oil.

It makes my sister and I itch like crazy

What is Dandruff? What cause Dandruff ?

Dandruff
Dandruff is a common chronic scalp condition marked by flaking of the skin on your scalp. Although dandruff isn't contagious and is rarely serious, it can be embarrassing and sometimes difficult to treat.

What cause dandruff?

  • Dry skin. Simple dry skin is the most common cause of dandruff. Flakes from dry skin are generally smaller and less oily than those from other causes of dandruff, and you'll likely have symptoms and signs of dry skin on other parts of the body, such as your legs and arms.
  • Irritated, oily skin (seborrheic dermatitis). This condition, one of the most frequent causes of dandruff, is marked by red, greasy skin covered with flaky white or yellow scales. Seborrheic dermatitis may affect your scalp and other areas rich in oil glands, such as your eyebrows, the sides of your nose and the backs of your ears, your breastbone, your groin area, and sometimes your armpits.
  • Not shampooing often enough. If you don't regularly wash your hair, oils and skin cells from your scalp can build up, causing dandruff.
  • Other skin conditions. People with skin conditions such as eczema — a chronic, inflammatory skin condition — or psoriasis — a skin condition marked by a rapid buildup of rough, dry, dead skin cells that form thick scales — may appear to have dandruff.
  • A yeast-like fungus (malassezia).Malassezia lives on the scalps of most adults, but for some, it irritates the scalp. This can irritate your scalp and cause more skin cells to grow. The extra skin cells die and fall off, making them appear white and flaky in your hair or on your clothes. Why malassezia irritates some scalps isn't known.
  • Sensitivity to hair care products (contact dermatitis). Sometimes sensitivities to certain ingredients in hair care products or hair dyes, especially paraphenylenediamine, can cause a red, itchy, scaly scalp. Shampooing too often or using too many styling products also may irritate your scalp, causing dandruff.
I highly recommend

Real Cinnamon !!! Are you using the right one?

Taste: Real or True Cinnamon is sweet and delicate where as Cinnamon Cassia is strong to peppery
Color: Real Cinnamon is a tan color, whereas Cinnamon Cassia is a reddish brown to dark brown.
Look: Cinnamon Cassia bark is thicker because its outer layer isn stripped off. For that reason, Cassia sticks curl inward from both sides toward the center as they dry. Real Cinnamon sticks curl from one side only and roll up like a newspaper as shown above.
Feel: The surface of Cinnamon Cassia is rough and uneven, whereas Real Ceylon Cinnamon bark is smooth.
Usage: Real Ceylon Cinnamon is perfect in sweet and subtle dishes that require a delicate flavor.

What is Burdock Root?

Ever feel like your blood wasn’t clean enough? Probably not. However, Burdock root has been used for centuries to remedy all sorts of ailments and particularly remove toxins from our blood! Considering all the crap you and I are exposed to on a daily basis, I would say this is a humble root worth looking into a bit deeper, and that’s exactly what I did!

The Japanese Eat it, and the Chinese Use it in There Medicine!

I love learning new things about Japan, which is one of my favorite cultures. I first discovered this root, when reading about alternative medicines and foods in Japanese culture. Burdock root is called “gobo” and is commonly eaten as a food. It also goes by other names too like lappa, edible burdock, wild gobo and happy major. I have even found it in my local Asian food stores and some select privately owned health food stores near me. The good news, is that for you raw foodies out there, you can actually eat burdock root raw in addition to cooked.

You can add it to my soups and sauteed it in a stir fry with carrots and sesame seeds, yum! You can also throw it in some coleslaw, or even just add it to your normal everyday salads. Burdock can also be juiced for a delicious and refreshing healing beverage.  I have also discovered that traditional Chinese medicine also has used burdock synergistically with other herbs to treat cold symptoms and sore throats.

So What is Burdock Root Used For?

- Food:

 1. Not only is this root commonly found in Japanese cuisine, but it is also eaten in parts of Europe as well. The primary benefits I have found in terms of eating the root in its natural non supplement form is twofold. The primary benefit is the fact that it helps with my digestion, as it contains inulin which is a form of fiber that our bodies readily absorb. We could all stand to get more dietary fiber in our diets, especially from food and not supplements, so this was a big plus for me personally.

Enjoy some Burdock Root today

Does Front Lace Wigs Cause Forehead Cancer

Researchers came to the conclusion that Lace Front Wigs are the leading cause of forehead cancer in African American women.
After years of studies Cancer has shown to be more prevalent in women who wear tightly laced wigs (Lace Fronts), because of the abnormal cells that are able to form under the moist heat that is usually a result of over-wearing the head ornaments.
Lace Front wigs have long been a staple in the African American community; especially among inner city youth and with the recent acceptance in the past few years by entertainers & celebrities alike. “The amount of wig wearing youngsters has increased 3 fold” said Cancer Center of America representative Ronald DePinho.
When asked what can people do to help with the cause and hopefully prevent forehead cancer in a friend or family member?
Dr. Ronald Depinho responded:
Snatch a wig, save a life would be the campaign, but some reps think something more aggressive should be used like “Snatch a wig, save a bitch” to reach the hip hop/urban community who will be vastly affected by this soon to be outbreak, but many are questioning that verbiage …including myself.
Basically we need your help and if you have an idea or catchphrase that could be used we’re willing to reward you for your efforts to eradicate the spread of this forehead skin eating disease.
Post your catchphrase to Lace Front Wigs Cancer Facebook Group here >>https://www.facebook.com/CheapLaceFrontWigs and you could be the face of the “End Lace Front Movement” and also receive $10,000 upon completion.
